Dr. Greg Robbins

Dr. Gregory C. Robbins, Ph.D., is a lifelong student and a seasoned educator with a storied career spanning over three decades. With a deep commitment to excellence in education, Dr. Robbins has crafted a legacy of leadership, innovation, and improvement in educational practice and administration.

A respected academic, Dr. Robbins retired from an enriching tenure as a professor at the University of Alabama System Louisiana State University and A&M College, where his research and teachings left a lasting impact. His experience extends beyond academia into the practical world of educational leadership. He has served as principal of two pioneering international schools in China—where he also played a pivotal role in introducing STEM education in 2010—and as a Chief Academic Officer overseeing comprehensive academic programs and initiatives. Dr. Robbins's international experience is complemented by his involvement in educational development, having contributed his expertise as a consultant for new schools across the globe

An esteemed member of the Cognia community for over five years, Dr. Robbins has excelled as a lead evaluator and has shared his insights at Cognia Global Impact Conferences.  As the Managing Member and Senior Analyst for the Global Education Service Agency (GESA), Dr. Robbins continues to channel his vast experience into supporting educational institutions. With GESA's inception in China and its strategic relocation to Belgrade, Serbia in 2022, his leadership has been instrumental in expanding the agency’s service reach to the Far East and the MENA region. Dr. Robbins is dedicated to fostering leadership development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to client schools, upholding the values of excellence and continuous improvement.

Dr. Zack Micevic

Dr. Micevic is a Senior Consultant at GESA. He also serves as a Lead Evaluator for Cognia® where he has volunteered his services since 2019.

 

He  finds joy in helping client schools on their journey of continuous improvement. Each school has a unique journey and whether its helping a school with accreditation preparation, accreditation lifecycle maintenance, or professional development or any other area, Dr. Micevic is genuine in his desire to help every school achieve its improvement goals.

 

Dr. Micevic’s career in education began in 1998. His career trajectory includes roles ranging from classroom teacher, department head, to vice-principal, academic principal, and principal in international schools of medium to large size. His longest tenure was in China where he spent over a decade occupying various leadership roles in high schools.
 

Dr. Micevic has advanced degrees from the University of Western Ontario in Canada and a doctoral degree in education from the University of New England. He has spent a decade researching international schooling contexts and is deeply committed to helping schools maximize their potential. His core research interests center on understanding the impact leaders have on teachers’ motivation to improve professional practice and how technology is best leveraged to improve student learning.

Dr. Anne-Marie Woolsey awoolsey@globalesa.com

Dr. Anne-Marie Woolsey (AKA Dr. Anne) believes in the power of learning through student-centered, technology-enriched classrooms. Formally educated at various American universities, Dr. Anne refined her expertise by traveling more than 2 million miles in 50 countries across the globe. As an educational leader, she has spent thousands of hours in schools, transforming hundreds of classrooms into quality learning environments, and delivering a plethora of valuable professional learning opportunities for teachers and school, corporate, and STEM leaders. In addition to working as a teacher, building-level principal, online learning school developer, assistant superintendent, and college professor. Dr. Anne built a $42.7 million-dollar, technology-rich high school which earned a U.S. and World Report medalist status of excellence. She is a pioneer in transforming traditional classrooms into technological, futuristic classrooms. Presently, she uses her expertise in digital learning to help schools and colleges across the world to build customized online learning programs for their organization. Her global impact in education expands into North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. In previous roles, Dr. Anne has served as Cognia Director of Digital Learning and Regional Director of Middle East and Asia, iAM Global Education CEO and Founder, International Schooling Director of Innovation, and Cognia Lead Evaluator.

 

Currently, as one of the co-founders of Global Educational Service Agency (GESA), she is honored to utilize her wide range of global expertise, abundant worldwide educational experiences, robust leadership skills to deliver training and support to educational leaders and teachers across the globe, and prolific developer which assists organizations build new brick-and-mortar schools as well as a customized designer for online learning environments. Dr. Anne’s awards include the AZLEADS Circle of Honor Leadership Award, A+ School of Excellence, Arizona State University (ASU) Outstanding Faculty, ASU Outstanding Doctoral Student, and Outstanding Global Conference Presenter. She is in the process of authoring a book for educational leaders to transform their classrooms into futuristic learning environments.

Mohamed Mihlar Mohamed Nawfal

Mohamed Nawfal is a passionate educator who has produced substantial results as a teacher and as an academic director in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a career that spans 25 years. He has played a pivotal role in mentoring and grooming several giants of industries and regularly delivers lectures to practitioners and school leaders.

While teaching, Mr. Nawfal was for seven consecutive years the recipient of the prestigious Best Teacher Educator Award from the British Council, and his students achieved top honors in the Kingdom Award for A Level Chemistry.

 

He has served in key leadership roles which include the Head of Chemistry Department, founder and academic principal, as well as the academic director of  international schools.

Mr. Nawfal is actively involved in Cognia Accreditation and review, and he excels as a career coach and teacher trainer. He has been championing the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)and STEM in education.

 

His understanding of the Saudi Arabia educational ecosystem and his professionalism and expertise underscore his strong connection nexus with schools across the kingdom.
