Our
Workshops
& Seminars

One of the key aspects of our services portfolio involves conducting professional development workshops and seminars. Each is tailored to the context and participants' needs. We do not do "cookie cutter" professional development.

Professional development workshops and seminars are both valuable learning experiences designed to enhance skills and knowledge in a particular area. However, they differ in their format, duration, and level of interactivity.

Workshops are typically interactive and hands-on, involving activities, group discussions, and practical exercises.

Seminars, on the other hand, are more lecture-based, with a focus on presentations and information dissemination.

Workshop Sessions: General Information

The teacher workshops on have a pre- and post-workshop component to them. The pre-workshop component is about transmitting basic information and the post-workshop component is about completing a final task that we call the workshop "deliverable".

Completion of the pre- and post-workshop components along with your participation allow us to give you official Professional Development credit owing to the fact that our agency-Global Education Services Agency (GESA)-is an accredited ESA (Education Services Agency).

Instructions on how to access the workshop courses will be e-mailed after you have registered and been assigned one morning and another afternoon course workshop.

We use Canvas as the platform for all professional learning. Therefore, the instructions we send will include how to sign-up for a (free) Canvas account (if you do not already have one). Registration for Canvas is free, easy, and quick. If a teacher happens to already be using Canvas and has an account then there is no need to sign-up for a Canvas account.
